    The beat thing ever I can remember having as a kid is Toast w/ cold bacon dripping s spread a top and a slice of tomato from our garden…O so Yummy , and still have them today!!

    My favorite “go to” comfort food is creamy, bubbly, steamy, baked macaroni & cheese with buttery, crunchy, cracker crumb topping! Mmmmmmm……

    I love shepherd’s pie (more properly cottage pie since it’s not made with lamb) and always plan for it the day after I make a roast beef.
