My favorite type on salad is a spinach salad with mushrooms, bacon, red onion, and hard boiled egg. If I happen to have some grilled shrimp I will add them as a treat. When it comes to the dressing a nice red sweet and sour is good, French or Russian works also. A local restaurant serves it with a warm bacon dressing but my favorite dressing that I still can’t find the recipe is a Syrian lemon and oil dressing. It has different herbs and seasonings in it but seems simple to make, but no matter how hard I look I cannot find the correct recipe. Maybe someone here can help!!;)
