5 Dreamy Dessert Recipes in a Jar

I don’t understand how people don’t have a sweet tooth – I must have gotten theirs. I LOVE desserts. They can be rich, decadent, chocolate-filled, fruity, creamy, or sweet. I mean, what is not appealing about that? Yet, even if I feel like I can eat a whole cheesecake or pan of brownies by myself, I never can. When I make dessert recipes for just myself, I always have a lot of leftovers.

This is why I absolutely love mason jar recipes. They make individual servings, so you can make one or two just for you, or make enough for a group of friends or family. AllFreeCasseroleRecipes.com and AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes.com have a ton of jar recipes that are nice for the fall. You can curl up on the couch with a jar in one hand and a spoon in the other. Well, I know what I’m doing tonight.

1) Slow Cooker Brownie Pudding Cake in a Jar

Here’s an easy recipe from AllFreeCasseroleRecipes.com. Put all of the ingredients for this Brownie Pudding Cake in your slow cooker, and at the end of the day, you will have a heavenly chocolate cake. Scoop the cake into a jar and enjoy. Like the name says, there is pudding, so it’s extra moist and gooey.

2) Slow Cooker Cheesecake in a Jar

AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes.com has another slow cooker recipe that’s different but just as delicious. The cheesecakes have a buttery, graham cracker crust at the bottom and a creamy, cheesecake filling on top. Mason jars are easy to travel with, so these are great to bring to work. You can make one for each day of the week.

3) Peppermint Fudge Cupcake Jars

These little guys are pure bliss. First, fill the jars with cupcake batter and bake. When they’re done, pour a peppermint-chocolate ganache in a hole in the cupcake and on top of it. Then, decorate them with frosting and voila, your beautiful, delicious creations are done. These are perfect for Christmas, but they taste so good you won’t be able to wait until then to make them.
