Food Trend: Crazy Bacon Recipes

I’m just going to come right out and say it.  This week’s food trend is bacon, and the folks here at RecipeLion could not be happier.  We’re not just talking about your basic recipes with bacon.  No, that’s not a trend.  That’s just good taste.  This food trend features some of the most creative and crazy things we’ve seen people make with bacon.  No one ever said that bacon had to be just for breakfast.  There is even bacon flavored liquor now.  That’s right; you can now have a bacon flavored drink.

If you break down bacon, it’s not surprising why it’s so good.  The American-style bacon we’re familiar to is prepared from the pork belly and cured and brined in large quantities of salt. It can be smoked, boiled, fried, baked, or grilled.  No matter how you cook it, it’s always going to be delicious.
