During the holidays, everyone is looking for new recipes to wow their crowds.
We all know the usual suspects will make an appearance: Spinach and artichoke dip, the classic holiday ham, and a big batch of Christmas cookies. But, in my opinion, what makes holidays more exciting is new ideas.
New ideas … without a ton of work, that is. Take a peek at what these people are doing with their muffin tins. Of course, you can also use cupcake tins as well for a bigger version. These are great for entertaining and can be used for appetizers or desserts.
Check out this awesome recipe for Monkey Bread from The Kitchenarian. We all love monkey bread, but who wants to be crowded around the big loaf picking at a loaf that everyone’s sticky fingers have already touched? Not me. Give everyone their own individually portioned pieces and spare yourself the flu this year.
And this recipe for Mini Breakfast Cups from Mommy Savers. This is a magnificently easy recipe that can satisfy everyone. It’s also great for tailgating or early morning football practice.
And lastly, this is yet another excellent idea for making the most out of your muffin tins. Check out how you can make Cookie Bowls from Coleen’s Recipes – great for scrumptious and interesting ice cream bowls.

I use the foil muffin tins for melting old and broken crayons, place on a warming plate or in a electric fry pan fill with water and heat, the crayons will melt. Get and old sheet and draw a design, paint with the melted crayon, let dry, crinkle up you design and put in colored dye, rinse and dry. Place news paper under design and news paper on top, iron design until all of the crayon is removed with the paper. You have a design you can hang and display.
I make meat loaf and macaroni and cheese and bake them in muffin tins. Then I freeze the ones I don’t eat. Pop them out of the tins and zip them up in freezer bags and have individual servings for quick lunches (I am single and usually eat by myself).
