Seasons Greetings from the folks here at Recipe Lion headquarters! We are so excited to be celebrating another holiday season with our very loyal readers and friends. Seasons Greetings! I know I already said that, but this is our favorite time of year. It is not our favorite because of the presents or because it’s the only time of year we can justify listening to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, or even the infectious jolly spirit in the air. It’s the sweets! We love the holiday sweets. Cakes, cookies, candy, pies, candy pies, the holiday season has it all!
At Recipe Lion we came together as a family, popped in the Yule log VHS, the T.S.O. compact disk and discussed our favorite holiday pies. Creamy Eggnog Pie is great for those who love the smooth taste of eggnog and pie. Made with bourbon and rum, it will warm the heart with every bite. We also love this Heavenly Peanut Butter Pie. Peanut butter is good any time of the year and will be a hit with the family. We continued to talk about the decadent Cinnamon Spice Peach Cobbler , but then we realized that it was unlawful and unprofessional to only be talking about our favorite holiday pies and not to be making them, like you the readers. So, we took a break, stepped away from the fire and made Almond Pumpkin Pie. This is a great recipe if you missed your pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving and are still looking to get your pumpkin pie fix.
Here at Recipe Lion we are always combing the internet for the best holiday recipes that we can share with you. This year we found some of the best. It was hard to only pick five, but we have faith in these five and think that they will be a great addition to your holiday desserts. So, pop in your favorite holiday cd, T.S.O is ours, and enjoy these great holiday recipes.
Well, there you have it. We hope that these look appealing to you and make the cut this holiday season. As for us, we’re going to push play and enjoy our Yule log video. Happy Holidays.
