I have a friend who used to feed her collie pizza. Not occasionally, either; several times a week. This was meant as a loving act on my friend’s part, but her dog quickly ballooned in size. My friend put her on a diet, but the damage had been done: she was one pizza-loving collie.
Who can blame her? We can’t, especially after compiling this list of Our Top 10 Pizza Recipes. I’m a sucker for a good pizza crust recipe, so I enjoyed meaty Italian Pizza Rustica and soft and doughy Grilled Cheese and Tomato Pizzas. Using an unusual pizza sauce has become de rigeur among pizza enthusiasts, and I found tomato-free pizzas like White Pizza with Chicken, Basil, and Olive Oil Glaze and BBQ Chicken Pizza just as delicious as the traditional variety.
Enjoy, but please do so responsibly; remember that humans must exercise caution around pizza, both for their own sake and the sake of their collies.
