I love to make several things in my slow cooker from main dishes to desserts. My favorite however is beef stew with vegetables.

I have a pot roast recipe with just a few ingredients that is to die for. Pot roast, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms, onion soup mix, and onion. Heaven in a crock pot. You can also substitute pork roast, pork chops, or chicken.
The one I make most often is a Roast with vegetables. It always turns out beautifully.
When cooking completed, I always add 1/2 cup red wine. I also love the other
recipes mentioned yesterday, and agree with most of the writers, that I would love
to try the peanut brittle.
Love the recipes for slow cooking. Sometimes I use 2 crockpots. Use them 3 sometimes 4 times a week. I am always giving the recipes to others.
I love to come home to the smell of beef stew in the slow cooker!
