Metallic utensils are not ideal for non-stick surfaces, so one of my favorite kitchen utensil is a spoon-shaped silicone spatula that is reasonably heat-proof. (A colorful handle would be a big plus)! Using a spatula eliminates waste and ensures your quantities are accurate because nothing gets left behind, and it makes for a cleaner scraping!

I love my pampered chef melon baller/strawberry huller. It is different then most melon ballers. It rocks as an apple corer and the huller cleans the pith from peppers super fast and is great to scrape the seeds from cucumbers. Because it’s an open ring, it cleans easily. I rarely use it on melons and strawberries.
