Christmas may be over, but it’s still the holiday season. And you know what the holiday season means? Parties, commitments, busy nights, and hectic days. Things get crazy around the holidays—and the holidays don’t end until after New Year’s!—and for me, it’s often a lot easier to just go to a restaurant or order takeout. However, I would never do that for desserts! These 16 Restaurant Style Desserts for Christmas are my go-to recipes for when I want something sweet during the holidays but I’m trying to save money after buying so many Christmas gifts. From copycat recipes for classic Starbucks holiday recipes to homemade versions of your favorite Christmas treats, these recipes always put a smile on my face.
Many of these recipes would also make great edible gifts. I don’t know about you, but this time of year, it seems like every couple of days, some friend or family member stops by, and I’ve forgotten to get them a gift. For this very reason, I usually make some kind of edible gifts to just keep around in case this happens. It’s saved me on more than one occasion! But to be honest, I think that once you taste one of these homemade desserts, you won’t want to share them.
These recipes are some of our most popular recipes every holiday season (and it’s no secret why). They’re simply divine!
Whether you’re throwing a holiday cookie exchange party or you just want something special to leave out for Santa this year, these cookies are the ones you’ve been looking for.
Who doesn’t love a good cheesecake? I, for one, always make at least one cheesecake at Christmas time. No matter who you have at your Christmas or New Year’s party this year, you’ll be safe with a cheesecake.
It’s just not Christmas without fudge. I make peanut butter fudge with my grandma every year, but these recipes really take the cake (not to mix up my dessert metaphors).
