Halloween Party Ideas
Are you planning a Halloween party this year? If so, then you need to be sure you have the perfect foods ready to serve.
I have found several great ideas for Halloween parties this year that I thought I would share with you today. Although the decorations play a large role in a great party, the food can be altered to make a spooky appearance too.
Pumpkin Peppers – Using my Mexican Stuffed Pepper recipe, I created these pumpkin peppers by simply carving the face out on orange peppers. These would make a great main dish for the party or appetizer.
Mummy Bites – Our Best Bites features several Halloween food ideas, that can basically plan your whole menu for the party. My favorite though are the mummy bites, these would be the perfect appetizer.
Pumpkin Sandwich – On the same site for Our Best Bites, they also feature a pumpkin shaped sandwich. This would be a great addition if you are throwing a kid friendly party. This is also perfect to use in your child’s lunch in celebration.
Spider Plates – To serve all the delicious food, turn paper plates into spiders. These spider paper plates will add a nice touch to your Halloween inspired menu.
Skeleton Cupcakes – Desserts are necessary at any party and these skeleton cupcakes are sure to make all the guest rave with great reviews. They are almost too cute to eat!
Halloween Popcorn – This site has visually appealing ideas that are sure to bring a pop of color to your table. I specifically love the idea of the popcorn served in black and orange paper holders. These are easy for kids as well as guest to enjoy while mingling.
Deadman Fingers – How about serving a plate of fingers? These almost look too real for me to bring myself to eat, but I know the guest will think they are fun. They could even be strategically placed over dishes to look as if a finger is going to pick up the food.
Spider Eggs – These eggs are spooky and creative. Add a spider touch to a deviled egg.
Each of these links feature many different Halloween Recipes; however, I just pointed out my favorite ones from each site. Halloween is a fun holiday that allows creativity to run wild. It can be anywhere from fun and light hearted to spooky and haunted.
Are you having a Halloween party? Do you have an item on your menu plan that is always a hit at your party?
