Back to School: Quick and Easy Weeknight Recipes

It’s that time of year again. Stores like Target and Walmart have rolled out their large school supply sections. Schools are sending home a never-ending flurry of letters regarding schedule pick-ups and the first day of school. School sports and activities have already started even though classes haven’t. Yes, summer vacation is officially over and it’s back to the hectic daily grind. With all of the running around and crazy schedules you have to get used to, it’s hard to find the time to make a quality dinner for your family. Lucky for you, AllFreeCasseroleRecipes.com has a variety of quick and easy weeknight recipes to help make your life easier. Whether you’re looking to make a ground beef casserole, a pasta casserole, or even a slow cooker casserole, we’ve got you covered. Here are a few of our favorite quick and easy weeknight recipes. All of these are perfect for families that are constantly on the go because they require little attention or preparation.

¬†With ground beef casseroles, you can’t go wrong with either Easy Cheesy Beef Stroganoff Casserole (pictured left) or Bow Tie Beef Noodle Casserole (pictured right). Both combine savory ground beef with pasta noodles and a creamy cheese sauce. The stroganoff recipe is especially flavorful due to the chopped garlic. The best part about these two ground beef casseroles is the fact that neither of them takes more than 45 minutes to make. That’s less time than it takes to remember how to do long division and help your kid with their math homework.

Pasta casserole recipes are just as easy. I recommend Lazy Lasagnas (left) and Dump ‘N Go Vegetable Tortellini Alfredo (right). If you notice, both recipes’ names allude to how little effort it takes to make them. Lazy Lasagnas is perhaps one of the simplest lasagna recipes you will ever come across. You don’t even have to layer the noodles, sauce, and cheese. Just mix it all together and divide the mixture between a few mason jars. The tortellini recipe is just as simple because all you really need to do is dump all of your ingredients into your casserole dish and let your oven do the rest.

If you don’t really have time to make dinner once you’re home for the day, then make it before you leave in the morning! Recipes like No Peek Beef Stew and Skinny Slow Cooker Pizza Casserole are great because they don’t need any supervision at all during the day (unlike your children). The slow cooker will make the meat in your beef stew so tender that it will just fall apart in your mouth. On the other hand, if you choose to make the pizza casserole, you’ll notice that all of the flavors blend together so perfectly that you’ll feel like you’re eating an actual pizza. It’s pretty impressive.
