Have you tried grilling with a cedar plank? The aromatic wood gives an interesting smoky flavor to meat, and allows you to grill fish more easily. While you can certainly buy a small cedar plank from a cooking store such as Williams & Sonoma, you can probably find one cheaper from a lumber yard. My late grandfather once owned most of the lumber yards in Indiana, so I had to give a shout out. Cedar planks work especially well for Cedar Plank Salmon.
