    I have not made anything with yeast for a long time, but it may be time to try again. Since I work at a grocery store, I usually buy my doughnuts there.

    If I am really craving a doughnut and don’t feel like driving, I will use a tube of biscuits, fry them and shake in a bag of cinnamon sugar.

    In the past, I tried to make my own, but was unfortunately unsuccessful. Thus, we usually either go to Dunkin Donuts or buy Entenmann’s if we really want them, but occasionally we buy from “Daylight Donuts”. We don’t have a Krispy Kreme around here.

    I do both sometimes I go to Dunkin Donuts, or even buy them from Publix. But sometimes I make them at home using the refrigerator biscuits

    I go to Krispy Kreme of course! There’s one about 5 miles from me and I love to get there when they’re pulling a batch out of the oven. Yummy!

    My grandmother used to make me donuts using a donut maker but never put on a stick. I wonder if they’re as good as the mini donuts at the carnivals or fairs?

    I have just started to make my own doughnuts. I think they are so much better than the boughten ones!!! But when I lived in Canada, the best place to go for a donut was Tim Hortons!!!! 😀

    A place called Manderfields in Appleton, WI. They’re pretty much the only place to get true donuts.

    We go to our local grocery for fresh doughnuts. We do not have any doughnut specialty shops in town.

    I have not tried making my own, but the Krispy Kreme copycats look fantastic… I may try this in the future.

    We have nothing fancy available in our town. If I buy rolls, it is from Wal-Mart’s bakery.

    i have never had a good recipe to try making them myself. I usually just get them from the local grocery store, Meijer’s. Or sometimes for a really special occasion, we will go to krispy kreme to get some.

    Actually I do both, win i’m in a baking mood i’ll whip up a batch of homemade doughnuts. And when I get that sweet tooth craving and don’t have the time to bake, I go to no other than “Krispy Kreme”! Although from time to time I do get a hankering for “Dunkin Doughnuts” french cruellers!

    When I was little my Father would always have fresh donuts for us kids on Christmas morning. We didn’t have a car but know matter what the weather was like he always made a trip to the local bakery or took the bus downtown to a little bakery. I sure do miss that, now we get our donuts at Walmart.

    When we want donuts, we go to Dunkin Donuts. They have many kinds and also donut holes. I’ve also been known to make my own donuts. Headlights and longjohns are my favorites.
