Thank YOU!
Kathy
I have not made anything with yeast for a long time, but it may be time to try again. Since I work at a grocery store, I usually buy my doughnuts there.
shipleys we don’t have a krispy kream donuts here
Love it!
We generally make our own but if we are out and about we will try to go to the local independent guy at the panaderia.
If I am really craving a doughnut and don’t feel like driving, I will use a tube of biscuits, fry them and shake in a bag of cinnamon sugar.
krispy kream is where I go.
I very rarely eat donuts.
i go to krispy kreme
In the past, I tried to make my own, but was unfortunately unsuccessful. Thus, we usually either go to Dunkin Donuts or buy Entenmann’s if we really want them, but occasionally we buy from “Daylight Donuts”. We don’t have a Krispy Kreme around here.
the grocery store where I work! They are amazing!
Nothing better than an original glazed from Krispy Kreme!!
I hardly ever eat donuts, but when I do it’s at Tims and it’s always an apple fritter.
Krispy Kremes are the absolute best!
Casey’s…it’s close to home…Krispy Kreme aren’t available here 🙁
I go to our local grocer’s bakery as we don’t have any chain doughnut shops in our little town.
I do both sometimes I go to Dunkin Donuts, or even buy them from Publix. But sometimes I make them at home using the refrigerator biscuits
My husband will be so happy for me to make these at home. His favorite
I go to Krispy Kreme of course! There’s one about 5 miles from me and I love to get there when they’re pulling a batch out of the oven. Yummy!
haven’t eaten a donut in long time but have never made one. Krispy Kreme is sold in local grocery store. guess I could pick one up there
I do not make my own. I go to Krispy Kreme
since we can not get Krispy Kreme around here I go to the Dutch Bakery in Pella Iowa, ooooh sooo good
I love Krispy Kreme, but I moved and there isn’t one near my house. SAD! So, now I go to Kroger.
My grandmother used to make me donuts using a donut maker but never put on a stick. I wonder if they’re as good as the mini donuts at the carnivals or fairs?
Daylight Doughnuts – Local Doughnut shop
I have just started to make my own doughnuts. I think they are so much better than the boughten ones!!! But when I lived in Canada, the best place to go for a donut was Tim Hortons!!!! 😀
A place called Manderfields in Appleton, WI. They’re pretty much the only place to get true donuts.
We go to our local grocery for fresh doughnuts. We do not have any doughnut specialty shops in town.
I have not tried making my own, but the Krispy Kreme copycats look fantastic… I may try this in the future.
I buy them at Walmart or Public. Sometimes Krispy Keener at Race Trac.
Krispy Kreme every time!
We have nothing fancy available in our town. If I buy rolls, it is from Wal-Mart’s bakery.
I love donuts at the tower market
My locale bakery at Rays has great fresh dohnuts. If I am going to town, Krispy Kreme 🙂
Our local IGA – no Krispy Kreme anywhere near us which is probably a good thing!
i have never had a good recipe to try making them myself. I usually just get them from the local grocery store, Meijer’s. Or sometimes for a really special occasion, we will go to krispy kreme to get some.
Usually we make our own, but when we go out for them it is to Shipley’s.
i would love to make these for my grand kids. love this site.
I sometimes make my own using biscuits and icing, otherwise I buy Krispy Kreme.
Love Krispy Kreme Key lime Pie donuts!
I make my own.
Where I live, its DK Donuts…best donuts in town.
I used to go to Dunkin Donuts but they recently closed. I do like to make my own donuts too.
Nothing better than an original glazed from Krispy Kreme!
We don’t often eat donuts, but when we do we usually get them from Dunkin’ Donuts (tons of them in VT)!
Krispy Kreme! Cream Filled Chocolate Iced!!!!!!!!!!!
dunkin
Dunkin’ Donuts…my favorite.
Don’t make my own … or haven’t for a long time.
Dunkin’ Donuts. I love the munchkins.
Actually I do both, win i’m in a baking mood i’ll whip up a batch of homemade doughnuts. And when I get that sweet tooth craving and don’t have the time to bake, I go to no other than “Krispy Kreme”! Although from time to time I do get a hankering for “Dunkin Doughnuts” french cruellers!
We only have the grocery store in our little town, so that’s the only place to get them.
We pick up our doughnuts at a local doughnut shop
well we don’t have a krispy kreme, altho we’ve occasionally had them shipped in….so it’s dunkin donuts for us.
Local grocery store. But ever as good as the buttermilk cake donuts grandma used to make.
When I have donuts I have to go clear to Las Vegas and I do Krispy Creme or Dunkin Donuts.
Nothing can beat a Krispy Kreme when they are still warm and fresh. I could eat a couple of them in no time flat. They are sooo good!!!!
When I was little my Father would always have fresh donuts for us kids on Christmas morning. We didn’t have a car but know matter what the weather was like he always made a trip to the local bakery or took the bus downtown to a little bakery. I sure do miss that, now we get our donuts at Walmart.
We do not have a chain doughnut shop here. So I buy them at a local bakery.
Doughnuts from Super Mom’s Bakery at Super America….no krispy kreme around here.
christmas is to have fun and enjoy christ birthday
our KK didn’t last long 🙁
Ooh, I LOVE Regan’s idea, personally! xD <333 But anyhow, I generally prefer Krispy Kremes' doughnuts, but… well, sometimes Dunkin' Donuts is more convenient! D: <3 SO sorry, KK, my love! 😛
I love chrismas time of year
I love Dunkin’ Donuts because they are closest to me, but if I’m near a Krispy Kreme then I’m all over that!
i love krispy creme but there is not one here so i go to a doughnut shop here in our town but am also looking for some good recipes to fix at home.
WE BUY OURS AT OUR LOCAL CASEY’S
We have made our own cake donuts but mostly just the local grocery store.
When we want donuts, we go to Dunkin Donuts. They have many kinds and also donut holes. I’ve also been known to make my own donuts. Headlights and longjohns are my favorites.
Usually the grocery store, but once in awhile, Dunkin Donuts.
