Hey there! Holly here from Club Crafted again with my absolutely favorite breakfast hack, especially during the summer months. These very simple cinnamon roll waffles are made with pre-made dough for a quick breakfast that doesn’t require turning on your oven.
Whenever I want a sweet treat for breakfast, I pop a couple cinnamon rolls in my waffle maker and they’re ready in minutes! It’s much easier than turning on the oven to make a batch of cinnamon rolls, and pre-made dough makes the process much faster and easier.
All you need to make this recipe is a container of cinnamon roll dough, which comes with a small container of icing.
First, heat up the waffle maker and spray with a cooking spray. Place one or more cinnamon rolls in the waffle maker (they do not spread much) and press down the lid.
For faster cooking and best results, put a little pressure on the lid so that it presses into the dough. After about 4 minutes, the cinnamon roll waffles should be ready and lightly brown on the outside.
Remove the lid of the icing and microwave for about 20 seconds, until warm. Drizzle over the cinnamon roll waffles (along with syrup if you’d like!) and enjoy a quick but super sweet breakfast!
