This past week, I attended an event showcasing the bright and bountiful flavors of Corner Bakery Cafe’s spring menu. Hosted in downtown Chicago, it was a gathering filled with food, fun and quality information. I was joined by the editors behind FaveHealthyRecipes and AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes and a great time was had by all! As the editor of AllFreeCopycatRecipes.com, I love to learn more about restaurant chains and the recipes they provide so I can look for the very best versions for you to make at home.
Corner Bakery Cafe’s recipes center around using fresh product and local produce whenever possible. Ric Scicchitano, Chef and Senior Vice President of Food & Beverage, cooked the three new dishes featured below right before our eyes. The audience members sampled breakfast scrambles made with fresh veggies and sausage, scrumptious sandwiches made with goat cheese (my favorite), onions and tomatoes and finally he put together a ready-for-summer side salad that was bright, clean and delicious.
Corner Bakery started in my hometown of Chicago. Every time I visit, I’m continually impressed by the freshness of ingredients and the wide variety of interesting dishes on the menu. Whether I’m in the mood to have a healthy dinner or to indulge, there are plenty of options to choose from, like salads, pasta dishes, sandwiches and more.
