I really liked my grandma’s stuffing and cheesecake recipes. She would always make them before huge family gatherings, although I’m not sure if she made these for Christmas. Her stuffing had raisins in it, which was great! And the cheesecake was so light and fluffy. I have the recipe and hope to “get around to it” eventually.
Roast beef, roast potatoes, green beans, carrots, gravy, mashed potatoes and yorkshire puddings!
It seems like I get the most consistent response to Corned beef and cabbage boiled dinner. I do the large crock-pot full to spitting over and it doesn’t take long for 3 people to demolish it. Pair that with fresh biscuits and butter for a totally yummy meal. Who needs dessert then?
I love my mother’s stuffed cabbage. I could make it once a month.
