Hot dogs are weirdly controversial, and it comes down to one reason. People take pride in their local dog’s style. Anywhere you go in the United States, people will tell you that their dog is the best, and they’ll be able to tell you exactly what goes on it. It’s bizarre when you think about it, because the toppings don’t change too dramatically. Most dogs have some mustard and some kind of seasoning, at least.
This summer, why not stray from your local dog’s typical toppings and try some hot dog toppings from somewhere else? I’ll refrain from ‘Who Will Be The Wiener?’ jokes, because for us, it’s not about who has the best dog. We’re all about appreciating the versatility of this fab American food, and we want you to try them all!
It’s amazingly quick and easy to try some other toppings on your hot dog. Just check out this video from RecipeLion’s Youtube Channel.
