Giveaway: American Heritage Chocolate

October 8, 2012 by RecipeLion 21 Comments

Do you ever dream of living in simpler times?  Things can get crazy in this hectic, modern world we live in, so sometimes it’s nice to take a step back in time and experience the simple joys of life from way back when.  Luckily, this week’s giveaway is all about those simple pleasures.  American Heritage Chocolate offers delicious cocoa-based products made from authentic, colonial recipes.  That’s right, these chocolate goodies taste the same way they did when our ancestors enjoyed them hundreds of years ago.  Neat, right?

Like I said, this week’s giveaway from RecipeLion offers you the opportunity to take a step back in time and taste the simplicity of chocolate made without preservatives and with all-natural ingredients.  The prize package includes a Chocolate Block (great for baking!), a 4-pack of Chocolate Sticks (so rich and delicious!), and a package of Chocolate Drink Mix (perfect to make and cozy up with on those cold weather nights).  Plus, included in the GRAND PRIZE is a copy of the book Chocolate: History, Culture, and Heritage, an awesome comprehensive look into all things chocolate.  We’re giving away the chocolate product set to three lucky winners and the Grand Prize to one very lucky person.  Enter today and that person could be you!

Plus you can read more about these chocolate products and their rich history on our review page here.

Now that I’ve got you craving chocolate, here are some of my favorite simple, go-to chocolate recipes for you to indulge in.  Enjoy!

  • 30 Minute Chocolate Cake
  • Black Bottom Cupcakes
  • Chocolate Cinnamon Bread Pudding
  • The Best Chocolate Brownies (shown above)

Don’t forget to enter the American Heritage Chocolate Giveaway today!

Chocolate is my favorite go to food when happy or sad. Some of my best memories are centered around chocolate. I would love to read more about chocolate, its history and all of the changes it has gone through. We have been to chocolate factories in several countries and are always interested in the types of chocolates that a particular country enjoys.Of course we always bring home whatever will fit in our suitcase.
