Every time I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always sit in awe as I watch my friends, family… even complete strangers… eat their fried rice grace so gracefully. Meanwhile I struggle to get a single grain of rice in my mouth. It’s never a happy experience when it comes to me and chopsticks. I always end up shamefully asking the waiter or waitress for a fork and feeling bad for being that person chowing down on their Chinese food with a plain old fork.
Well, I am happy to say that I’ve recently found a solution to my Chinese food problem. When I first heard about the Chork — a handy little utensil that combines the ease of a fork with the gripping quality of chopsticks — I was amazed that no one had thought of this awesome idea before. I mean what could be better than a pair of chopsticks that you can flip around and use as a fork any time you want?! Best of all, the Chork features what they call “trainer” or “cheater” chopsticks. What that means is that the two sticks are connected together to make coordination and control much easier for those of us who have trouble using traditional chopsticks. There’s also the option to break the two sticks apart and use them as classic chopsticks once you’ve mastered your chopsticks skills. How nifty is that?!
This week for RecipeLion’s weekly giveaway, we’re offering 12 lucky winners the chance to take home two 12-packs of Chorks for the whole family to enjoy. One comes in a classic black color while the other is a fun red hue. Enter the contest here for your chance to be our lucky winner.
