For our giveaway this week we’re taking you straight to the garden for some out of this world recipes. In Simple, Fresh and Healthy (written by Linda Hafner) you are treated to an array of irresistible food recipes with food photos that make your mouth water, all highlighting the wonders of the garden. We’re giving away a copy of this cookbook to 5 winners, so get ready!
In all honesty though I come across a lot of cookbooks, I’ve got stacks on my desk right now and they are all pretty great for their own reasons. But what I love about this one is that every recipe really seems possible, as in not too complicated, even for a cooking novice. Not to mention the emphasis on garden fresh and locally grown produce. Farm fresh isn’t a requirement in order to make these recipes, but as a person who prefers veggies from farmer’s markets, the taste difference really is something. I really envy all of those people out there who have the ability and time to maintain their own gardens, how I would love that!
But back to the giveaway. Just because I can and because I made one of these dishes already and can confirm of its deliciousness, check out these two teaser recipes from the cookbook:
White Chili – I made this one the other day, it was really easy, very filling and a nice refreshing change to the rest of the chili recipes out there.
United Nations Quesadillas – I haven’t made this yet, but I probably will have by the time this post is live. Seriously it couldn’t get any easier, and only a few ingredients. If you like the tomato, basil and mozzarella combo then I just made your day.

Also, suggestion. MAybe cooks could name their recipe as they move along for people like me who channel surf and join in midway
