Apple Cider Recipes

Did you know that apple cider can be used in a variety of recipes? It does not only have to be a drink, but it can also add flavor and taste to many baked goods. Apple Cider is typically only found in the fall which means I fix a lot of apple cider recipes this time of year.

I am going to share with you a few ways to utilize apple cider. These recipes are going to be using the apple cider powdered packages that you can find at the grocery store typically near the hot chocolate and coffee. Some of the recipes will require you to make the apple cider as instructed on the package then use it in the liquid form others will use the powdered form.

Caramel Apple Cookies – These cookies were the first recipe I tried this year using apple cider. They were amazing. Although, I am not a fan of eating raw cookie batter, I know I may be alone in this but my husband was ready to eat all the dough!

Caramel Apple Muffins – Immediately after I made the caramel apple cookies, I knew I had to create a recipe to turn them into muffins. I did just that and these would make a delightful treat to take to a brunch this year.

Apple Cider Doughnuts – Can you imagine eating these with a cup of coffee on a crisp fall morning? I have caramel apple nut coffee in my pantry right now and something tells me that coffee along with these would make a nice pair.

Apple Cider Float – We all know that root beer floats are all the rage in the summer, so why not add this to the list for the fall? Rachel Ray gives us her apple cider float recipes that is sure to be a hit this season!

Apple Cider Pancakes – Add these to the breakfast menu this year adding a little cider takes these pancakes to a new level. They will fill your taste buds with flavor!

Chicken Stew with Apple Cider – Adding a little cider to the dinner table is easy as well using it as a broth in this stew is a delightful way to give an alternative flavor to stew.

Are these ideas generating even more recipes that you know you’ll be adding apple cider to this year? I have a few in mind, what are you thinking of trying?
