The Perfect Ways to Eat S’mores
Do you dream of campfires? Crisp Air? Starry nights? And S’mores? I do! S’mores become part of the season during the fall, most of us all look forward to cooking out just for the shear fact we know that ooey gooey goodness will be making an appearance.
Most of us immediately know what goes on s’mores, graham crackers, chocolate, and toasted marshmallows. However, did you know that there are thousands of variations of s’mores? I just recently realized this over the past year of how many recipes involve s’mores. Today I’m going to share with you some of my favorites.
S’mores Brownies – I tried these last year just before Christmas and this recipe ended up being a year round keeper! Why eat a plain plate of brownies when they could be topped with chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers? After you make this dessert, brownies will never be the same.
S’mores Popcorn – Planning a movie night soon? Forget the traditional buttery popcorn and surprise your kids with S’mores Popcorn and possibly enough sugar high to keep them up all night, but they will love you forever!
Caramel Apple S’mores – Liz at Hoosier Homemade has some of the all time BEST S’mores ideas and recipes. I saw these Caramel Apple S’mores last year and fell in love! What a wonderful way to add a twist to a S’more. Especially for those who may not necessarily care for chocolate.
Chocolate Covered Strawberry S’mores – These are also from Hoosier Homemade, I told you she has the best ideas. We had these at our family cookout last fall, they were a huge hit. I bought double the amount I needed, and I did not even have a crumb left!
S’mores on a Stick – Now, to make them less messy and easy for the kids this idea would be the perfect alternative. This makes them easy for your kids to carry and hold without all the goo dropping all over them. Less mess? I’m there.
Now that you have all of these ideas what is your favorite? How will you be eating S’mores this fall?
