I absolutely love the appetizer dip recipe, it combines my two favorite things: artichoke dip AND appetizers! At every holiday party or family get together, it is always requested I bring my famous spinach-artichoke dip. I, however, found a rather simplistic way of making this dish when, upon cooking, I realized I didn’t have half the ingredients at home. Keeping the spinach and artichokes (or just one or the other), use 2 8oz containers of Parmesan cheese and, instead of the very fatty Alfredo sauce, use Miracle Whip! Mixing those few ingredients will create the same amazing tasting appetizer with half the amount of ingredients.

I have to say that adding the garlic to this dish is a fantastic idea. I have always been a fan of garlic and can’t believe I haven’t thought of this before. It works perfectly with the tang of the artichokes. You better believe it will be added to my next batch!

    Maybe tomorrow…

I love this post, great ideas! Is it ok to substitute the brand of Prosecco or does it alter the recipe? Thanks for posting!

Absolutely! We love Prosecco and other types of sparkling wines in cocktails. Cocktails with sparkling wine are fun to experiment with. You can also try adding different juices and liqueurs, such as St. Germain, a personal favorite!
