Today’s Recipe : Orange Cookies

On the sixth day of our 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway, my true love gave to me…these Orange Cookies from Hutzler!Hutzler recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange rind
  • 2½ cups sifted flour
  • dash of salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cream butter and gradually add sugars and beat until light.
  2. Add orange juice and mix well.
  3. Add egg and grated orange rind.
  4. Sift flour, salt and baking soda together and gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Fill the cookie press and form the cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet.
