This past Monday, the editors of AllFreeCopycatRecipes.com, AllFreeSlowCookerRecipes.com, and MrFood.com had the pleasure of attending the International Home & Housewares Show 2014 in Chicago. We were able to see some of the latest and most innovative kitchen products hitting shelves this coming year. This was a gigantic show filled with every housewares brand I can think of! We are even giving away a collection of swag from the show here.
Plenty of celebrity chefs were in attendance and leading cooking demonstrations. We were able to spot Aaron Sanchez (pictured below left), Gale Gand, and Guy Fieri (pictured below right), just to name a few. A large cooking theater was set up to host the cooking demonstrations. We stopped by just as Aaron Sanchez was finishing a Mexican dish. He joked with the crowd and showed off a couple nifty techniques.
This year a few trends in products were seen. It was truly the year of innovative slow cookers and multi-cookers, many of which are hooked into your wifi so you can control them even when you aren’t home! We also saw lots of collapsible products made for easy and space-saving storage. A personal favorite were the Squish Collapsible Colanders (pictured below right). Some of our favorite brands of all-time like Le Creuset and KitchenAid (pictured below left), showcased their newest colors. Green is in!

I love my Kitchenaid. Got it for Christmas two years ago and have used it so much. Really don’t know how I managed to cook for 45 years without it.
My favorite is my airfryer….I love love love it.
My favorite appliance? My brand new KitchenAid mixer, my very first one. Don’t know how I functioned without one!
My favorite kitchen appliance would have to be my pressure cooker. I have learned how to use it now and love the easy of use and great tasting foods I can make in record time,
I love my crock-pot! I make at least one meal in it every week
My favorite kitchen appliance would have to be my GT Express. It is quick and I can prepare things without heating the oven. Since there are only two of us in this household; it is perfect for the proportions. Next would be my slow cooker as it frees me up while I can prepare wholesome meals.
I don’t think its considered a gadget but I cant live without my knives! But as far as gadgets are concerned…my grater

Vitamix! I use it daily for pretty much every meal of the day! Don’t know what I’d without it!

My favorite kitchen gadget has to be my crock pot. I like when dinner “cooks itself”!!
Currently, my favorite kitchen appliance is my stand mixer. Favorite gadget would probably be my Kuhn Rikon Master Opener can opener.
My favorite would have to my microwave seamer/cooker. makes fast work of potatoes and vebetables cook to perfect doneness.
There are three kitchen appliances that I cannot live without…my Kitchenaid mixer, my rice/veggie steamer, and my Crockpot. 🙂
NO DOUBT ABOUT IT, IT IS MY PRESSURE COOKER. I HAVE BEEN COOKING WITH IT FOR OVER 30 YRS. GREAT FOR MAKING BIG MEALS AFTER I GET HOME FROM WORK. DON’T THINK I COULD LIVE WITHOUT ONE!!!!!
I am the kitchen gadget queen! I don’t know what I would do without so many of them. My most recent acquisition is a corn cob stripper. It makes cutting the kernels off the cob so easy and fast.
I love my slow cooker.
Love my microplane.
A meat slicer for all my roasts and especially eggplant when I make breaded eggplant parm!
Gadget would be Garlic Press
Probably my new food processor. Always wanted one and now it makes slicing and dicing so much faster and easier!
Just bought a VUE and while I loved my old Kuerig – absolutely love the VUE!
Favourite gadget, is my Chef Puck, imersion blender….chops everything!!! Also, my hand pastry cutter, works great for devilled eggs as well as cutting butter into flour!
My food saver…keeps everything fresh and safe (great for my spices)
I love my crock pot and my stand mixer!!! But I really love all my Pampered Chef items too. Don’t think I could get rid of any of them!! LOL
I was given a Ninja for Christmas from my sons girlfriend. I now can make slushes and veggie drinks that I do everyday. The best appliance in the world for me.

My favorite kitchen item is my electric can opener. My husband bought it for us a couple of years ago because I have trouble using a manual opener and he wasn’t always conveniently available to “come upon this can for me, please.”

My favorite kitchen gadget would be my mandolin. I use it all the time for all types of different kinds of cooking techniques, its awesome!!
My favorite appliance is/was my KitchenAid mixer. I dropped it while moving and now it only works on high speed. I miss using it so much.
My favorite appliance is my Braun hand held blender. I bought it in the 90’s and it hasn’t missed a beat in 20 years (pun intended). I just wish some of my other appliances lasted as long.
I love my kitchen aid! I do have many favorites so its hard to pick one, but the kitchen aid is at the top of the list. 🙂

Love my Kitchen Aid, but have worn out the bottom plate that holds the bowl in place. Need a new one perferably Red. Also need a slow cooker, my handles broke off. Cut my self every time I try to carry it. The products themselves are wonderful tools. Just can’t afford new ones.
