For our second featured Monthly Morsel question, we asked you “What is your favorite Super Bowl party recipe?” Frankly, it could be any party recipe, but with the Big Game this Sunday, it seemed to be a natural. This time around, we decided to link out to bloggers who answered us, and we did get a couple of good responses. Here’s what our respondents had to say:
From Stephanie Gallagher, Cooking for Kids Guide on About.com
This Taco Dip makes a great Super Bowl recipe, because you can just dump everything in the Crockpot in advance, and let it do its magic while you’re preparing other things. Leave the slow cooker on warm during the party, and let the guests dip away!
Stephanie was gracious enough to share her favorite Super Bowl recipe with us, so we’ve posted her Crockpot Taco Dip right on our site. She has also written a wonderful guest post for our blog, so be sure to check out The Truth About Eating Cheaply — Why You Can Eat Like a Princess on a Pauper’s Paycheck.
From Elana Amsterdam, Elana’s Pantry
My favorite Super Bowl party recipes would have to be Almond Butter Blondies (for dessert) and Squash Fries (for a salty snack).
Read about Elana’s Pantry and get her recipes on her guest recipes blog post.
Thanks to Stephanie and Elana for their great responses!
