6 Must Make Candy Corn Recipes

October 4, 2012 by AllFreeCasseroleRecipes 1 Comment

I can’t believe it’s October already! That means Halloween is less than a month away, and we will soon have to start stocking up on candy. One of the most popular kinds of Halloween candy, of course, is candy corn. Now, I have to be honest…I wasn’t a fan of candy corn as a kid (probably because it didn’t have chocolate). But as I’ve grown up, I’ve realized how great this orange, yellow, and white gem is.  AllFreeCasseroleRecipes.com has some really cool candy corn recipes that look amazing and taste even better.

Below, you’ll see candy corn in bars, cakes, and Rice Krispies Treats. And as an added bonus, I’m sharing  two super awesome bonus recipes from RecipeLion and AllFreeCopycatRecipes.

 Must Have Candy Corn Recipes

Homemade Butterfinger Bars

1. Homemade Butterfinger Bars

The filling of these delicious Homemade Butterfinger Bars is made with candy corn and peanut butter, and the topping is melted chocolate chips. This recipe is insanely easy and seriously delicious.

Candy Corn Nutter Butter Bars

2. Candy Corn Nutter Butter Cookie Bars

For this Candy Corn recipe, combine Nutter Butter crumbs and chunks, melted marshmallows, and candy corn. There’s no baking involved, just let them cool and enjoy!

Candy Corn Rice Krispies

3. Candy Corn Rice Krispies

Rice Krispies Treats are fast and easy to make, and can be made for any occasion. This version of Candy Corn Rice Krispies is made with candy corn and M&Ms, so they’re great for Halloween.

Halloween Poke Cake

4. Halloween Poke Cake

I recently discovered “poke cakes” and am really excited to share this Halloween Poke Cake with you. The cake is made from a fudge marble cake mix and the filling is orange gelatin. Candy corn is sprinkled on top to add to the Halloween theme.

Candy Corn Cupcakes

5. Candy Corn Cupcakes

How adorable are these? I love to color cakes because they become so festive that way. To make these Candy Corn Cupcakes from RecipeLion, put orange food coloring in half the batter and yellow in the other. Decorate them with frosting and a piece of candy corn and you will have the cutest cupcakes ever.

Homemade Candy Corn

6. Homemade Candy Corn

This final recipe is from AllFreeCopycatRecipes. This super-sized Homemade Candy Corn tastes just like the real thing, but the texture is a little different. These are definitely worth trying because not only do they taste good, but they’re fun to make as well.

P.S.

Did you know that there are White Chocolate Candy Corn M&Ms?! They are limited editions and exclusive to Wal-Mart. Buy them before it’s too late, and when you do, here are some awesome recipes you should make:

  1. Candy Corn Cake Bars from Shugary Sweets
  2. White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M Cookies from Chocolate Moosey
  3. Pumpkin Squares with Candy Corn M&Ms from So, How’s It Taste?
