Winter is almost over, and spring is in the air! And that means zoo season will begin soon! Some of my fondest memories as a kid were at the zoo. It’s great bonding time for a family. But if it’s a little bit too chilly where you are, you can still have all the fun of going to the zoo without even leaving your kitchen. (Don’t worry! There is no actual gorilla poop involved in this recipe.)
Going to the zoo is one of the best ways to get outside and enjoy the fresh, sunny spring weather. This recipe from Six Sisters’ Stuff, (some of our fave bloggers of all time — hi, ladies), is seriously one of the easiest no bake dessert recipes I’ve ever seen.
No bake dessert recipes are a great way to get your kids interested in cooking, especially when the cookies you’re making have a great name like “Gorilla Poop Cookies.” These cookies are seriously so easy to make. And chances are, you probably already have all of the ingredients in your pantry, just waiting to be turned into some delicious, no bake cookies. Plus, even though I’ve definitely made my no bake cookies too dry before, these turn out perfect every time.

This recipe is also full of oats, so you can consider it a healthier-than-average treat. You can make this easy dessert recipe in five simple steps, and take a bag with you as a snack the next time you head out for a sunny day at the zoo. With peanut butter and vanilla, these funny gobs of goodness will give you an afternoon boost. They make the perfect snack for zoo-goers, too!
