I’m back home for spring break, but just looking at these pictures make me miss being at school in the South! The recipes look mouth-wateringly delicious, and I can’t wait to try them out. Thank you for compiling so many great ideas in one post–some even look easy enough to make in my dorm room!
These look so delicious! My stomach is growling just looking at the pictures. I think one of my favorite southern desserts is a honeybun cake my friend’s mother always makes. It tastes just like a honeybun roll. I always get psyched to go over to his house for dinner because I know she’ll probably cook it and send me home with some as well. It also makes an amazing breakfast with a strong cup of coffee.
MMmmmm…. how about pecan pie?
My mouth is watering. As a student studying abroad in Spain, I have had my fair share of delicious European desserts, but there’s nothing quite like the taste of home. I once saw arecipe for a sweet potato Clobber,it was in a magazine featuring Alabama foods from a Church picnic .Some one misplaced it before I got to copy the recipe.
