On the first day of our 12 Days of Christmas in July Giveaway, my true love gave to me…the Parmesan Turkey Burger and Tropical C Elixir Recipes from Conair!

Parmesan Turkey Burger

Parmesan Turkey Burgers

INGREDIENTS

  • 3/4 Pound turkey (7% fat works best)
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoons finely chopped green onion
  • 1-1/2 Tablespoons finely chopped Italian parsley
  • 2 Tablespoon freshly grated Parmesan
  • 1/8 Teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/4 Teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon kosher salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place turkey in a large bowl with all ingredients. Using clean hands, combine and mix well, but do not overwork the meat. Divide and shape into 2 burgers. If not grilling immediately, leave wrapped in refrigerator.
  2. Preheat an indoor grill to High.
  3. Once preheated, place the burgers evenly spaced on the grill and cover. Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes, until well grilled and the juices run clear. The internal temperature of the meat should be 165°F when tested with an instant read thermometer.
  4. Serve hot on grilled buns or English muffins

The Turkey Burger looks so good. I enjoy trying new recipes and all but one of my favorite things to eat is a tossed salad with romaine lettuce, cukes and tomatoes. I also include black beans, squash, scallions, carrots and celery. I don’t use dressing but I usually make salmon with olive oil, butter, lemon juice and seasonings. Once my salmon is cooked I drizzle the salmon and juices over my salad. Would this be considered a Wilted Salad.
