New on the blog this month, we’re going to let our eNewsletter readers’ voices shine!
We’ve got a pretty good idea of what our readers like when it comes to recipes, but we know that not all of you are subscribed to our eNewsletters. So this week I thought I’d share what were the hottest 5 recipes among the eNewsletter readers last month. Is it a favorite of yours too? Share your thoughts below.
Also if you aren’t subscribed to the eNewsletters why not give a try! One cool feature to check out – each weekend we do a wrap up of all the reader favorite recipes from the prior week. Check out how to subscribe here, and enjoy the best recipes from April below:
Readers loved this recipe for Best Chicken Salad Ever, it was featured in our April 1st eNewsletter. Not only is this the best chicken salad ever, it’s the easiest, too! With just 5 basic ingredients (plus salt and pepper, if you want), it’s quick and simple, and is perfect for your next picnic or party.
Reader’s went crazy for this Classic Bread Pudding when we featured it in our April 6th eNewsletter. It’s definitely a must make recipe. Whether you’re trying to create authentic Amish recipes or easy dessert recipes, this pudding will please.
It was all hail the Amish in our April newsletters and this Amish Do It Best Beef Bake was a huge hit in our April 16th weekend wrap-up issue. Though not an official Amish dish, this beef casserole recipe uses simple ingredients, many of which could be pulled from your own garden or farmer’s market. This is the kind of lifestyle that the Amish thrive on, which is why the name works for us! I’d suggest serving over potatoes or rice for a complete meal.
Once again Amish continued to rule, this Amish Friendship Cake was also featured in our April 6th newsletter. This cake recipe is similar to what the Germans call apple cake, but here in the U.S. it’s called Amish Friendship Cake. It’s somewhat inspired by the always popular Amish Friendship Bread.
The winner and most viewed recipe in April was a bit surprising and simple, but it’s a favorite of ours too. My Favorite Egg Salad was featured in our April 13th egg themed eNewsletter and the readers just gobbled it up! Thanks to ingredients like pickle relish, paprika and celery this truly is my favorite egg salad recipe, and it’s sure to become yours too. Also it’s easy breezy to make.
I hope you enjoyed these recipes. Have a great week, and remember you can subscribe here to get our awesome eNewsletters with plenty of new recipe ideas each week!
