I know I’m not the only one who looks forward to Starbucks’ Peppermint Mocha in December. I also know I’m not the only one who will splurge every now and then and buy one. I hate myself almost immediately after. I ask myself, ‘Did I really just spend $5 on a drink?’ A drink that probably has a billion unnecessary calories. I could’ve eaten a Big Mac. Or a big bowl of pasta. Or, I couldn’t have not bought one at all at and bought a new nail polish color. This is the thought process that goes through my head. It’s exhausting.
So this year, I’ve decided to skip the guilt and try making some of these drink recipes at home – with fewer calories and at a lower cost. There’s an added perk. All of the recipes you see below are slow cooker recipes, which means close to zero work for me. Praise Jesus.
