The slow cooker is a funny appliance. When I think of it, I immediately think of it cooking warm and cozy comfort food in the cold, winter months. Yet, it is actually more ideal for summer. Slow cookers don’t heat up the house like ovens do, so slow cooker dinners are wonderful to use from May through August. And speaking of slow cooker dinners, RecipeLion has a brand new free eCookbook that features plenty of those! It’s called 21 Meaty Slow Cooker Recipes for Dinner, and it will fill your dinner menu for weeks.
As you know, you can make all kinds of dinner recipes in your slow cooker. This free eCookbook includes slow cooker beef, pork, and chicken recipes. Here’s a sneak peek of what you’ll find inside…
This chapter is limited to slow cooker beef recipes, but it contains a variety of dishes. I really can’t pick a favorite. Could it be the Perfect Slow Cooker Swiss Steak? The mushroom sauce is to die for, and it really takes this dish to the next level. Or could my top pick be the Melt-in-Your-Mouth Short Ribs? French onion soup adds a really nice flavor, and the meat is so tender. Well, I’m not going to pick favorites. You’ll have to look at all the recipes yourself and decide which one deserves to be named #1.
Chapter 2 delves into slow cook pork recipes. I’m partial to pulled pork, so you’ll find my favorite recipe on page 24. These Slow-Cooked Pulled Pork Sandwiches are the perfect thing to make for a family barbecues in the summer. Man, do I wish I had one in front of me right now. If pork chops are more your thing, then you’ll be happy to know we have an incredibly easy pork chop recipe. Stupid Pork Chops and Gravy are super simple to make and taste great.
This slow cooker eCookbook wouldn’t be complete without slow cooker chicken recipes. From Dump and Go Cowboy Chicken to Slow Cooker Chicken Teriyaki, these recipes are sure to please. I personally like the Creamy Italian Slow Cooker Chicken. The creamy chicken is delicious served on a bed of pasta.
